We are going to present our new developed tool of synthesis of stellar population code, pyPOPSTAR and its uses in the analysis of spectra of galaxies. We first explain how does our code work. Then, we present the results of our code: the spectra of the single stellar populations and its colours in the Johnson system. Finally, we present a new code that we are working on that simulates real observations.
