Descripción

Data Science has been one of the highest-growth professional sectors in the last years. Terms such as "Big Data", "Machine Learning" or "AI" are not niche anymore and have reached common usage companies of all kinds of industries. Traditionally, professionals with a PhD in Physics have been very demanded to fill these kinds of positions in the private sector. During these talk, I will discuss my personal view of the Data Science field, similarities and differences with respect to Academia and how I see the sector evolving.
