“Train the Trainers” Programme in Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies

From 25 May to 12 June 2026 (NEW DATES!!)

This training activity is implemented within the framework of the project H2Excellence: Fuel Cells and Green Hydrogen Centers of Vocational Excellence towards affordable, secure, and sustainable energy for Europe.

A core objective of the project is the development of a joint transnational training and development programme in fuel cell (FC) and Hydrogen Technologies, based on modular e-learning content. The programme is structured into three learning pathways (ten modules each), addressing different educational and professional levels: Vocational Education and Training (EQF 3–5), Higher Education (EQF 6–8), and Lifelong Learning.

The Train the Trainers programme aims to equip teachers and trainers with the skills to effectively use, adapt and deliver the training materials developed within the project.

The programme provides participants with both technical knowledge in hydrogen technologies and pedagogical and digital skills necessary to deliver training, particularly in online and blended learning environments. It is also designed to be compatible with a micro-credential-based certification system.

This call is part of a strategy aimed at strengthening the capacities of teachers at all three educational and professional levels in Fuel Cells and Green Hydrogen technologies.

💻 Delivery Mode

The course will be delivered in an asynchronous tutored online format + one synchronous recap session (via videoconference) 12 June 2026 – 11:00 (CET)

 🕒 Total teaching hours: 30h

🎯 Programme Objective

The programme aims to equip teachers and trainers with the necessary competences to effectively use and implement the online training modules developed within the project, supporting their integration into education and training provision.

Consequently, contributes to enhancing the relevance of training systems to labour market needs, by supporting the development of skills aligned with emerging demands in the hydrogen sector and thereby fostering employability.
