Emilie Coene, Amphos 21 Consulting S.L.
Emilie is a Senior Consultant and iCP developer at Amphos 21, with a Chemical Engineering degree and a Master in Modelling for Science and Engineering from the UAB, Spain. She is an expert in numerical model development and application using iCP. She has been involved in numerous projects related with reactive transport and multiphase-flow models for geological disposal of radioactive waste, carbon capture and storage, and mining.
Fidel Grandia, Amphos 21 Consulting S.L.
Fidel Grandia has a Ph.D. in Geology by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2001). His Ph.D. dissertation deserved an Academic Excellence Award from that university. He is member of the International Association of Geochemistry and member of the Editorial Board of Journal of Geochemistry. He has been/is a supervisor of 6 PhD. fellows, 3 of them from Marie Curie ITN programs. Fidel is currently Project Manager at Amphos 21, and former Associate Professor on Environmental Geology at the Technical University of Catalonia. His research is focused on the modelling of the geochemical behaviour of fluids in both present-day and fossil environments. He has been involved as researcher and project manager in the managing of deep geological storage of nuclear and radioactive waste, mainly working for the national agencies of Sweden, Finland and France. The results of all this work have been published in 41 peer review papers in international journals, 60 scientific technical reports in public and private companies, and more than 100 conference contributions.
Albert Nardi, Amphos 21 Consulting S.L.
Albert Nardi is Project Manager and Senior Consultant in Hydroinformatics, Software and Data Science at the Department of Digital Solutions of Amphos 21. He holds an Industrial Engineering degree and a Master in Hydrogeology from UPC (Spain). He is an expert in numerical modelling and software development. He is in charge of the development team of iCP and also GibbsStudio.
Ersan Demirer, Amphos 21 Consulting S.L.
Ersan Demirer is a Senior Consultant at Amphos 21 since 2021. He has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, focusing on computational fluid dynamics and particularly constructing numerical models to capture fluid-structure interaction phenomena. He is an expert in numerical modelling of transport phenomena, as well as computational mechanics and optimization methods. As a consultant at Amphos 21, he has been involved in nuclear waste management and Oil and Gas projects involving numerical modelling of multiphase flow and reactive transport in porous media such as concrete, clay, or carbonate rocks.
